Rob holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Rhodes University and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with one of the big four auditing firms in Zimbabwe before moving to South Africa to join a large diversified industrial group of companies. After 10 years in various financial management positions at branch and divisional level he joined an international firm of Loss Adjusters where he specialised in Business Interruption and Fidelity Guarantee losses for twenty six years.

During that time Rob has adjusted losses in twenty five countries including countries in Sub Saharan Africa, the Middle East, Australia and South America across a range of retail, leisure, industrial and mining industries. These losses include:
