David obtained a BSc Eng (Mech) before joining the industry. He worked as a process engineer in the power and mining industries focusing on process optimisation. David’s experience exposed him to a broad spectrum of engineering processes and equipment in the Power and Mining industries.
David has experience in Hydro and Solar, as well as Coal-Fired Power Stations, having dealt with detailed analysis of process optimisation and retrofit project implementation. His experience in processing plants in mining exposed him to detailed analysis of processing plants.
David completed a Higher Certificate in Short Term Insurance after entering the Loss Adjusting fraternity in 2015 where he has gained experience on handling large losses and carrying out cause and failure analysis.
Although based in Johannesburg, David has extensive experience in handling large and complex losses throughout Africa.
