Roy joined Lloyd Warwick in 2022 after 20 years in industry; 16 years working for International Exploration and Production companies in Well Engineering roles and 4 years as a management consultant. Roy graduated from the University of Aberdeen with a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering and is a Chartered Engineer with the Institution of Mechanical Engineers. He also has an MBA from Vlerick Business School in Belgium and he has lived and worked in the UK, France, Luxembourg and Belgium.

Roy has held senior technical and management roles within Upstream teams delivering exploration, appraisal and development projects for E&P Operators.  These have been across the UKCS, West of Shetland, Norway, Dutch Sector and the South Atlantic.  Earlier in his career he spent 3 years as a company representative offshore on jack-ups, semi-submersible and platform drilling units.  He then continued with operational and engineering well design roles for challenging projects such as High Pressure High Temperature (HPHT) wells, subsea deepwater wells and remote developments.

In his career as an adjuster to date he has worked on a variety of global upstream energy claims.
