Alasdair attained a BSc Marine Geography (Hons) degree in 2012 and immediately commenced his employment with a major global offshore contracting and marine services company working with several clients including BP, Equinor, Saudi Aramco, Iberdrola and Ørsted. Here he spent five years as a Hydrographic Surveyor responsible for all survey and positioning activities on offshore installation of oil and gas production facilities, SURF, wind turbine foundations and offshore high voltage stations, as well as installation of infield and export cables.
In 2018, Alasdair transitioned to Loss Adjusting and has gained experience working on upstream offshore and renewable energy losses. In addition, he has also managed a portfolio of losses arising from the operation of marine seismic streamers and subsea equipment. Since joining Lloyd Warwick in 2021, Alasdair continues to work on a variety of energy losses. Some notable recent assignments include:
