Lloyd Warwick to expand global presence

Specialist energy loss adjuster Lloyd Warwick International is looking to increase its international presence following its successful launch last year.

With offices in London, Houston and Paris, the company is in talks about opening new offices.

“We have been delighted by the market’s response since we went live. We have now passed the ‘proof of concept’ stage, and feel the opportunity is there to expand. We’re establishing a global presence, and on the look-out for more up-and-coming stars of the future to help us achieve our vision,” said chief executive Joe McMahon.

The company was established by McMahon, a former chairman of Charles Taylor adjusting, and by Bateman Chapman founder Dudley Chapman with the support of several other senior market figures.

“With new technologies like fracking and renewables coming on stream, and oil and gas exploration taking place in areas that were previously off-limits, this is an exciting time to be involved in the energy industry. Insurance is at the heart of making it all possible, and underwriters are showing greater ingenuity and flexibility than ever,” said Chapman.
